Looking for a place to dine out where you can have healthy meals? Try searching for a restaurant participating in the Healthy Dining Program using the Healthy Dining Finder:

The Healthy Dining Program aims to include all kinds of restaurants – from fast food to fine dining, from one-unit independents to large chains. While some restaurants specialize in “healthier” dishes, our goal is to identify “better for you” choices at a wide range of restaurants.

While any restaurant may participate in the Healthy Dining program, featured menu items must fall within certain limits for calories and fat (total and saturated). The Nutrition Criteria also encourage use of lean proteins, fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and trans fat-free and non-fried items.

You can search online for a restaurant serving healthy choices by location, by price range, or whether they do take-out, delivery, or catering.
